2009 Adventure Challenge

This exciting adventure race features trail running, mountain biking and kayaking.
Participants can race solo, or as a team of two or four and will receive an 8-week training protocol prepared by Innovative Fitness, weekly instructed trail running and mountain biking classes along with 2 kayaking clinics.
We will provide continuous support to help reach individual goals. In return, we ask you to raise a minimum of $1,000 in pledges.
Amazing prizes will be awarded for highest individual pledges as well as for the top team!
NEW THIS YEAR….
Kids Courses
5-16 year olds
Canoe, bike and run around Deep Cove. Racing in pairs with 1 chaperone, children will race a shortened version of the Adventure Challenge course. Approximate race length 1-1.5 hours.

$500 pledge minimum per child.
Under 5 Run and Stumble Course
Run or stumble around Panorama park, crawl through a tunnel, throw a water balloon and cross the finish line!
By donation (suggested donation $20) – register event day.
Corporate Challenge!
Put together a team of 2 or 4, or go solo and have your colleagues help raise your pledge total. A great way to engage employees and business partners in a fun challenge!
The winning team will take home the Corporate Challenge Cup, complete with an engraved plaque to display proudly until the next Adventure Challenge.

When: Saturday, September 12, 2009
Location: Panorama Park, Deep Cove, North Vancouver, BC
Medium race [6km Kayak / 32km Bike / 10km Run]
7:30am check in
9:00am race start
Short race [4km Kayak / 20km Bike / 5km Run]
9:30am check in
11:00am race start
Supplies: Kayaks, lifejackets and kayak essentials supplied.
Fee: $50 registration fee and a minimum of $1,000 in pledges per person.
(Note: $500 in pledges is due by June 30th)

100% of the proceeds will go to support Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
